(He had been drinking with his friend who was a considerable distance away carrying a litre bottle of beer.) When these things were not given he grabbed my small bag which contained my passport, other id, money, and other important stuff. Well, I wasn't going to let him get away with it so we both clutched the bag, but I was more determined that he was not getting away with it. He moved his right hand towards his pocket and I thought 'he might be reaching for a knife'. He didn't produce one and I wrenched the bag away from him and promptly left. He then went after an older man--maybe about 80 years old. I was 66 at the time--just last year. I started over to rescue the old man but someone else intervened and drove him off.
