How to make a Simple Face Mask with Household Supplies

Doing a DIY mask is a good idea if you have nothing else, and it does seem to provide a very acceptable level of protection according to some new studies, but whenever possible its always a good idea to have actual respirators and masks designed for this kind of use.
THIS is what I recommend, while the supply lasts:
3M Personal Protective Equipment Respirator Kit, Full Face 6800, Reusable, Medium, Plus 4 Particulate Filters 2097, P100 for Mold Remediation, Dust, Lead, Asbestos
3M Personal Protective Equipment, Full Face 6800, Medium, Plus 4 Particulate Filters 2097, P100
If not, then at least get a half mask.

I am not a doctor, though I play one on the internet. The risk of inhaled virus seems very small. The main benifit of wearing masks, is to limit the virus shed if you carry. IMHO everyone should be wearing a shed mask, cotton, tissue its all the same, just stop spraying.
