In his book "Emergency" Neil Strauss talked about taking his girlfriend along with him on a survival course provided by a guy named Mad Dog.
She bails at one point
and Strauss acknowledges that the girlfriend would be a big liability in a real survival situation.
Mad Dog replied: "Not necessarily. She's an excellent
source of protein."
Little things about driving in Mexico everyone knows:
1. Pedestrians don't have the right of way- not even children.
2. On a two way road, if a gravel truck is over passing a car and it's coming directly at you, sloooow down to give the truck the right of way.
3. Stop signs are not necessarily full stops.
4. Red lights, don't dwell on them, especially at night.
