I could not agree more. Too many people are asleep due to skewed media coverage and are in for a rude awakening. I pray that the far left has hit their high-water mark and will soon be in the dustbin of history where they belong. How long that takes is anyone’s guess. If so our federal republic can survive and even thrive.
Right wingers scared us with talk of communism for years while they sent our jobs to Mexico and China. They destroyed workers unions and workers rights, destroyed the middle class, redistributed wealth from workers to the 1% and gave us Trump. They cut taxes for the rich and cut welfare for the poor while increasing deficits and military spending.
Now Trump wants to increase pollution, eliminate health care for poor people...the only thing they want us to have is semi automatic rifles to kill each other with.
I'm not scared of communism. I'm scared of right wing racists, terrorists, and oligarchs. I'm scared of trump and I am not alone. We are going to take the country back for the people.

We see it. That's why Donald Trump won the election and why he will beat the impeachment attempt and win the next election.
I see it, and have for a while. There is a lot of bad stuff that has been going on here. I don't want you to despair. A lot of people get it, but remain silent out of fear.
Anonymous - I agree they've been trying to scare us with the Socialism boogie-word for so long, it's like the years of "Reefer Madness" it's just making us wonder why they want to scare us off of it so much ....
Old-time Socialists, the kind who were a real threat to the oligarchs and won us the New Deal, were what today are dismissed as "Brocialists". They weren't for things like Affirmative Action which amounts to screwing over working-class white kids in favor of middle-class black ones, and a lot of the other nonsense that's about nowadays.
I'll vote as Left as practical but I have no illusions, I've quit drinking so I'll have a "Virgin" Bloody Mary at the same bar I watched the results at in 2016, and I expect the Fat Orange One to win again. Not because he's doing anything for the working class, but as George Orwell noted in his send-up of Socialists way back when, they offer nothing to the actual lunch-pail set.
Just saw this in Florida!
A 15-year-old boy in Florida died while protecting his younger sister during a burglary, police said.
Khyler Edman was found dead in his home in Port Charlotte, Florida, Thursday, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. Police initially responded to reports of an injured person acting strangely in Edman's neighborhood around 4 p.m.
A man fled as police arrived in the neighborhood. Shortly after, a neighbor called 911 to report that there was a burglar in his home. Police apprehended the man, identified as Ryan Clayton Cole, 27, who had several stab wounds on his hands and side.

This man knows a thing or two about leftists taking over a country. Unfortunately a couple of commenters here do not. The Democrat party has gone insane with their extreme left philosophy of open borders, gun confiscation and reparations but that is probably the best thing Trump has going for him.
I cheered in 2016 and have relished the sight of grown ups throwning a temper tantrum but all fun aside, any person not on the government dole is voting against their best interests if they vote Democrat.
