Keep it in mind next time someone argues that the second amendment is dated and not relevant today. Free people own combat firearms. Not just hunting shotguns or target practice rifles, but guns they can fight with. Slaves have never been allowed to own weapons. Never forget that.

Amen to this!!! Some people see owning guns as a weakness..."civilized people don't need guns"..."we can talk out our feelings it doesn't need to come to violence"...I love this one "you reap what you sow,I don't believe in guns so that belief will keep me safe" but that's only for the people who believe that way too! If they don't believe it, they don't live by it! What they don't understand is the use of guns has kept this a free nation.
