Ferfal, an alert:
Something has happened to your blog page. It has brown wallpaper with dark blue text that fades into the brown background and can Not be seen.
Don't know if it is your blog web site or possibly something wrong with my Firefox browser.

Seems several people are having this problem.
As of right now, I see it fine as usual.
Is the problem still there for you guys? Try reloading or refreshing the page maybe. I'll check with another computer. I'm using Firefox as well.

It might be that the background image (http://thebloggerguide.googlepages.com/scribe_bg_paper_mid_ex.jpg) is not being rendered by the user's browser for some reason or another. Perhaps you can choose another theme on your blog - and see if that helps. Otherwise the user may have to clear their cache and try viewing it again... dunno...
I see it though.
Still have a problem with Firefox but your site looks fine with Internet Explorer.
Preliminary check with Firefox support page shows several people asking about text not showing up -- probably something needs to be adjusted in my Firefox browser settings or maybe my AntiVirus and Firewall settings. Will look into it.
Using google chrome and haven't had any problems.

I updated my Firefox browser with latest version and your site looks good now.
My apologies for the bother.
in safari it often comes up dark/brown and blue, but goes to normal colors when it finishes loading,
Using Firefox 3.5.6 on Linux it renders fine. Thanks for a GREAT blog.
I just updated my firefox to the latest version and your page now works fine but with a slightly older version of firefox it was all hosed up. With Internet Explorer it worked just fine the whole time though.......
I have the same problem - the only way I can read text is to highlight it (select it w/ the mouse)
I am using this browser:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.16) Gecko/2009120208 Firefox/3.0.16
Apparently it is a subtle reflow-refactoring bug. I think it was triggerd in older versions of Firefox (<3.1?) by bad background= style statements inside a div block. Correct behavior is to ignore the inline style statement -- not allowed in a div block -- but some version of the Gecko engine tried to incorporate them anyways. This caused a fallback to the global background image.
That's my best guess anyways.
